• Work directly with developers to break down complex tasks into shippable units with clear data flow and logic paths.
• Review pull requests and propose improvements to system design, scalability, and maintainability.
• Make high-impact decisions regarding:
• Media pipelines (e.g., FFmpeg, Whisper, BLIP)
• AI orchestration layers
• Stream buffer/VOD synchronization
• Error handling and logging systems
• Coordinate with the product lead and QA team to ensure implementation aligns with platform goals and quality expectations.
• Assist with DevOps/tooling direction as needed (e.g., RunPod, Railway, Redis, etc.)
Requirements
• 5+ years experience as a software engineer, preferably with experience in technical leadership or architecture.
• Strong proficiency with Node.js / Express, Python, PostgreSQL, and Redis.
• Experience working on video, media processing, or AI/ML pipelines is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with system orchestration and message/job queues (e.g., BullMQ, Celery, custom pub/sub).
• Able to clearly communicate complex system ideas to mid-level developers and QA.
• Comfortable reviewing code in GitHub and collaborating asynchronously using Notion and
• Professionalism, responsiveness, and problem-solving mindset are essential.
• Prior experience working with small, fast-moving startup teams is a plus.
Nice-to-Haves
• Knowledge of livestream processing (Twitch, YouTube Live, Streamlink, FFmpeg).
• Experience with Whisper, BLIP, Gemini, or other multimodal AI models.
• Prior work in SaaS or creator-economy products.
• Light frontend experience (React, Tailwind, ShadCN UI).
Time Commitment & Compensation
• This is a part-time remote contract role.
• Weekly commitment: 4–10 hours/week
• Flexibility in hours; key meetings/check-ins scheduled based on your availability.
• Rate based on experience and contribution level.
What You’ll Be Enabling

• Livestream and VOD capture
• AI-based clip detection and scoring (Whisper, BLIP, CLIP)
• Clip review dashboard and auto-posting to TikTok, YouTube Shorts, IG Reels, and X
•
• Custom branding overlays, captioning, and segment rules
• A scalable framework to onboard thousands of streamers and clippers
