Software Developer (AI-Focused, Bookkeeping Automation Project)

Description:
We’re looking for a talented Software Developer with strong AI and automation skills to join an exciting project in the bookkeeping and accounting technology space. This is an AI-first initiative where intelligent automation, machine learning, and data processing are at the core of the platform.

Responsibilities:

Design, build, and integrate AI-driven features into our bookkeeping automation system

Work with APIs, data extraction, and document understanding tools (e.g., OCR, NLP)

Collaborate on architecture decisions and workflow automation logic

Optimize performance and reliability of AI workflows and integrations

Requirements:

Proven experience in Python, JavaScript, or a similar language

Strong understanding of AI/ML frameworks (e.g., OpenAI, LangChain, TensorFlow, PyTorch)

Experience with bookkeeping, accounting systems, or financial data (preferred)

Must be able to work U.S. hours and use TimeProof for logging time

Excellent communication skills and a proactive, problem-solving mindset

Bonus Skills:

Familiarity with QuickBooks Online, Xero, or related financial APIs

Experience in building AI-driven SaaS applications
