Showit + WordPress Website Optimization Assistant (Performance + CRO)

About Us

We are a high-end photography brand based in the NYC/Northern NJ area with 620+ five-star Google reviews. Our website is built on Showit with a WordPress blog. We are looking for a detail-oriented Website Optimization Assistant to help improve performance, reliability, and user experience.

We are looking for someone who understands website performance, conversion flow, and SEO fundamentals.

Your Responsibilities

Weekly Tasks
• Test all website forms to ensure proper delivery
• Review Hotjar recordings and identify 3 friction points
• Check mobile responsiveness
• Scan for broken links
• Review Google Search Console for errors
• Run PageSpeed Insights and GTmetrix reports
• Ensure images are properly compressed before upload

Monthly Tasks
• WordPress plugin updates (if needed)
• Blog SEO improvements (meta descriptions, internal linking, structure)
• Performance report with recommendations
• Suggest specific improvements to increase conversion rate

You will not make design changes without approval.
You will provide clear recommendations with reasoning.

Required Skills

• Experience with Showit (REQUIRED)
• Strong WordPress knowledge
• Understanding of Core Web Vitals (LCP, CLS, etc.)
• Familiarity with PageSpeed Insights and GTmetrix
• Experience interpreting Hotjar recordings
• Basic SEO knowledge
• Strong written English
• Ability to create clear weekly reports
