AEZ Media creates premium short-form content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts, blending high-quality visuals with tight editing and strong retention. We’re hiring a Short-Form Video Editor who understands modern short-form style and pacing — someone who can craft engaging, high-quality ?60s edits based on voiceovers and visuals.

Role Overview
We’re seeking a contract-based remote editor to handle 2 short-form videos per month to start, with the potential to grow into repurposed clips and more frequent output.

Responsibilities
- Edit high-quality short-form videos (15–60 seconds)
- Work with iPhone 4K footage and Apple LOG (or mixed footage)
- Cut to voiceovers, music beats, and visual pacing
- Add colour correction, motion, text overlays where needed
- Optimise for retention and platform behaviour (IG, TikTok, Shorts)
- Deliver polished videos with fast turnaround
- Occasionally repurpose long-form clips into short-form content

Turnaround time expectation is 2-5 working days.

If using Final Cut Pro, templates can be provided if required, such as LUTs, music library, effects etc.

Fully remote and flexible with timezones.

Requirements
Must-Haves:
- Strong understanding of short-form pacing, hooks, and retention
- Ability to bring storytelling into a tight format
- Familiar with current social trends
- Quick communicator and reliable with deadlines

Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience working with content creators or social brands
- Familiarity with tech/lifestyle niches
- Basic animation / typography skills
- Ability to brainstorm ideas or refine scripts
