Short-Form Video Editor (Reels & TikTok): Remote, Full-Time

We're a fast-growing company making short-form social media video, mainly for Instagram and TikTok. We're hiring a full-time video editor to join our team.

We want someone who really knows short-form. This is more than basic cutting and trimming. We're looking for an editor who can watch a Reel rack up a million views and tell you exactly why it worked, then pull off the same thing in their own edits.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Edit short-form videos (Instagram Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts) from footage and assets we send you
- Build strong hooks that stop people scrolling in the first couple of seconds
- Cut for retention so viewers actually stay until the end
- Add captions and on-screen text that look clean and stay readable on a phone
- Create light motion graphics and animated text when a video calls for it
- Keep up with a weekly content schedule and hit your deadlines

WHO YOU ARE
- You specialize in short-form video. Reels and TikTok are what you're best at.
- You're fast and reliable, and your deadlines don't slip.
- You have a real instinct for what makes a video go viral.
- You're confident in CapCut, plus at least one of Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro.
- You follow trends closely and always know what's working right now.
- You take blunt feedback well and use it to improve fast.

REQUIREMENTS (please read these carefully)
- Available to work every day, including weekends
- Able to get online on our team ---------- every morning, Philippine time
- A proper editing computer, a laptop or desktop and not a phone or tablet, with at least 8GB of RAM
- A stable internet connection, plus a backup plan for when it goes down
- Solid written English
- A portfolio or showreel we can actually watch. No portfolio, no shortlist.
