Short-Form Video Editor — Kids Sports & Coding Brand

About us: We run Keiki Athletes & Keiki Coders — after-school sports and coding programs for kids in Hawaii. We capture tons of fun session footage and want it turned into great short-form video.

The role: Turn our footage into polished Reels (9:16) for Instagram & Facebook — mostly short videos, but we're open to other formats (carousels, photo posts, etc.) over time. To start, we hand you a clear brief (concept, clips, caption) plus a searchable, tagged clip library. As you get the hang of our style, you'll get more autonomy to dig through the library and shape ideas yourself. ~3–5 pieces/week. Editing & delivery only — we handle strategy, final captions, and posting.

What you'll do

Edit tight, fun 9:16 videos from a brief: clean cuts, accurate burned-in captions, music, on-brand graphics, a strong hook in the first 2 seconds
Pull clips from our library / Google Drive; apply our brand kit
Deliver to Drive, mark done, make quick revisions; communicate in Slack
You're a good fit if you

Have a portfolio of short-form videos (Reels/TikToks/Shorts) — please share
Know CapCut and/or Premiere/DaVinci
Have a good eye for pacing, captions, and what makes a clip fun
Have solid written English and are reliable with deadlines
Important: Our footage features real kids — handle it confidentially, use it only for our assigned videos, never repost or keep it.
