About this project

We're a pet lifestyle media company with a steady supply of raw footage and user-submitted clips (cats and dogs) that need to be turned into short-form vertical Reels. This is **batch work: one defined batch of 40 finished Reels at a time.** Deliver that batch **on time, fully to spec, with excellence, and we'll keep sending more 40-video batches.** This can be ongoing for the right editor — but each batch is committed and judged on its own.

## The deliverable

- **Exactly 40 finished short-form Reels per batch**, edited from raw footage and approved user-submitted clips we provide via Google Drive
- Pick the strongest ---------- nts and cut them into tight, scroll-stopping vertical videos
- Apply clean, on-brand pacing and a cool-toned color grade (we provide exact specs)
- Deliver files namedaccording to our convention, organized in our Drive folder
- **Repeat batches are offered only when a batch is delivered on time, fully to spec, and at a high quality bar.** Miss the deadline, miss the specs, or deliver sloppy work, and the engagement ends at that batch.

## Production standards (these are firm)

- **Format:** 9:16 vertical, 1080×1920 MP4
- **Length:** Reels **10–20 seconds** (never under 10 — Facebook requires a ---------- -second minimum for a Reel to stay monetization-eligible). Aim for the 10–15-second range, which wins reach while clearing the Facebook floor; only go longer when the clip genuinely holds attention (if a clip is flagged for TikTok, 15–30 seconds is fine). Never stretch a clip that's strong at 12 seconds.
- **Hook:** the strongest, most surprising ---------- nt in the first 1–3 seconds of every video
- **Color grade:** cool-toned required. Warm or golden grades are an automatic no
- **Loop:** end frame should flow cleanly back to the opening frame
- **No burned-in text** — text is added later by our team
- **No watermarks** of any kind, from any app
- **Audio:** deliver silent, or with audio on a separate strippable layer — our posting team adds trending audio natively at posting time
- **100% human editing.** No AI-generated footage or subject. This is a hard rule, and we screen for it.

## Logistics

- Batch work, remote, **firm deadline per batch** (we'll set it with you up front based on the footage)
- Viewer access to footage via our secure Drive
- Paid per batch via PayPal or Remitly on approved delivery
- Reports to the Operations Manager for handoff and review
