About This Role
I run a high-volume TikTok Shop affiliate content operation across two accounts. I film the content — you edit it and make it convert. I need a detail-oriented editor who understands short-form video structure, can follow a repeatable framework, and delivers clean, scroll-stopping videos on time, every time.
This is not a creative role — it is a precision execution role. I have a proven framework. Your job is to apply it perfectly and consistently at scale.
What You'll Do
Core Editing Tasks
• Cut raw footage (1–2 min clips) down to polished 25–45 second TikTok Shop videos
• Follow a provided script and visual notes for every video — structure, cuts, and text are all specified for you
• Add on-screen text overlays manually in CapCut — overlays and auto-captions must NEVER say the same thing simultaneously
• Apply auto-captions for the verbal track; all other text added as separate overlays in CapCut
• Cut and sync on-camera audio or VO cleanly to visual beats
• Maintain consistent pacing per the script notes: hook energy at the top, energy drop at the CTA
• Export files in correct format and resolution for TikTok upload
Workflow & Volume
• Raw footage is filmed in batch sessions and delivered via Google Drive
• Each batch covers approximately 5 products — expect multiple videos per product per batch
• Every video comes with a script and visual direction notes — you are not guessing what to do
• Target volume: up to 10 edited videos per day, delivered same week as footage is received
• Exact due dates are set per batch based on volume — you will always know your deadline before starting
• Deliver completed files back to the shared folder, organized by product
• Flag missing footage, unclear notes, or any issues before starting — not after
• Track completed videos in a shared log
What I'm Looking For
Required
• Proficient in CapCut — you must be fast and accurate, not learning as you go
• Strong understanding of short-form video pacing and cuts
• Able to follow written visual direction exactly — no improvising structure
• Detail-oriented — text/caption rules, energy shifts, and timing matter
• Reliable communicator — responds within 24 hours, flags issues proactively
• Can handle high volume with consistency — same quality on video 1 and video 21
• Comfortable with repetitive framework — this is not a creative exploration role
• Access to a computer capable of running CapCut at volume
• Stable internet connection for file transfer
Nice to Have
• Experience editing TikTok or Reels content for product/affiliate/UGC accounts
• Familiarity with TikTok Shop content style
• Basic color correction and audio cleanup
• Experience working with US-based content creators remotely
This Is NOT the Right Role If...
• You want creative freedom to redesign the structure or add your own style
• You cannot handle high-volume, repetitive editing
• You need heavy direction on every edit — the scripts and visual notes are your guide
• You are not responsive or proactive in communication
• You've never used CapCut before
How to Apply
To be considered, your application must include ALL of the following:
• 1. A short intro: who you are, where you're based, and how long you've been editing
• 2. Your CapCut experience level (beginner / intermediate / advanced) and how long you've used it
• 3. 2–3 examples of short-form video you've edited (TikTok, Reels, or Shorts — links or files)
• 4. Your current availability and how many videos per week you can handle
• 5. Your rate (per video or per hour — state which)
• 6. One sentence describing what you think makes a TikTok hook work
Applications missing any of the above will not be reviewed.
