Short-Form Scriptwriter

About the Job


Growthopia is looking for a killer short-form scriptwriter. You'll have the opportunity to write scripts for some of the world's biggest content creators and business owners, such as Russell Brunson, Grant Cardone, Daniel Priestley, and many more.



You will be responsible for scripted content's performance, with the opportunity to have some of the world's biggest entrepreneurs on your resume.

Ideal Candidate


You must have minimum 1+ year of writing scripts for short form content.



Familiar with latest trends, has knowledge on the algorithm's changes, as well as content formats that work.



Needs to be capable of utilizing AI tools for speed, such as GetBlort, Claude, etc...

Job Requirements


Must-Haves:



Minimum 1 Year Experience



Demonstrated experience writing short-form video content (TikTok, Reels, YouTube Shorts, etc.) for brands, creators, or their own personal channels.



Proven Track Record of Virality



Evidence of content that has gone viral (e.g. metrics like views, likes, shares).



Be prepared to show performance data or case studies.



Portfolio of Past Work



Include at least 3 examples of scripts/content that have been produced.



Can be for personal brand or clients.



Understanding of Hook-Based Storytelling



Able to craft strong hooks, maintain viewer retention, and end with clear CTAs or punchlines.



Platform Expertise



Familiar with algorithm-driven platforms (TikTok, IG Reels, YouTube Shorts).



Understands trends, pacing, and tone variations per platform.



Creative & Fast-Paced Writing Ability



Able to ideate and write multiple scripts quickly.



Comfortable with tight deadlines and content calendars.



Tone Adaptability



Can match or evolve a client’s voice (funny, educational, edgy, professional, etc.).



Collaboration Experience



Able to work with content creators, editors, and marketing teams.
