Shopify store builder/ web developer/ web designer

We’re looking for an experienced Shopify Website Developer to create a clean, functional, and visually compelling e-commerce website for a niche brand. The site will feature less than 50 products and must be designed to feel like a trusted, branded store—not a generic multi-product website. The ideal candidate is someone who has already built Shopify sites with strong branding, engaging product storytelling, and a polished customer journey.

Key Responsibilities:

Build and customize a Shopify website for a niche e-commerce brand (under 50 products).

Create a modern, trustworthy, and professional design that aligns with the brand identity.

Integrate pictures, GIFs, and videos to highlight product benefits and features.

Use Shopify apps and dashboard tools to optimize performance, upsells, reviews, and trust signals ( later on).

Ensure seamless mobile responsiveness and a smooth checkout experience.

Implement on-brand product pages that showcase value and benefits with thoughtful copy/design (not AI-generated).

Provide recommendations for apps, themes, and design improvements to enhance conversion rates.

Collaborate to refine brand style and present design mockups before development.

Requirements:

Proven experience building Shopify websites for niche brands (portfolio required).

Strong understanding of Shopify themes, Liquid code, and dashboard apps.

Ability to create branded sites that inspire trust and don’t feel like cookie-cutter templates.

Knowledge of conversion-focused design and e-commerce best practices.

Strong communication skills and ability to take inspiration from example sites provided.

Nice to Have:

Experience with custom animations, GIFs, and product storytelling visuals.

Familiarity with SEO fundamentals for Shopify.

Ability to suggest apps or integrations that increase customer retention and sales.
