Schedule: Project-Based | Approximately 25 hours/week

Compensation: $7–$9 USD/hour based on experience

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Shopify Website Developer VA to support a short-term website development project. The website design is already completed and approved in Figma. We need someone who can take the approved design and build it properly inside Shopify, ensuring the pages are functional, responsive, and ready for launch. This is not a design-from-scratch role. The focus is on Shopify implementation, page building, responsiveness, functionality, and QA.

What You’ll Do
Shopify Website Buildout
Build website pages in Shopify based on approved Figma designs
Translate approved layouts into functional, responsive web pages
Update content, images, buttons, links, and sections to match the design
Make sure the final build matches the approved Figma layout as closely as possible
Ensure pages are clean, professional, and ready for client review

Functionality & QA
Test links, forms, buttons, navigation, and page flow
Identify and fix layout or functionality issues
Ensure mobile responsiveness across desktop, tablet, and mobile
Flag technical issues that require escalation
Support final website review before launch

Project Communication
Provide progress updates throughout the project
Communicate clearly when requirements are unclear
Complete assigned pages and revisions on schedule
Work efficiently within a short project timeline

Required Experience
Expert experience building pages in Shopify
Strong experience translating Figma designs into Shopify pages
Experience with Shopify themes, sections, and page templates
Proficiency with Shopify page builders or customization tools such as:
PageFly
GemPages
Shogun
Replo
Shopify Online Store 2.0 sections
Or similar Shopify tools
Strong understanding of responsive design
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work quickly and accurately
Clear written communication
Available to commit to the full 2-week project window
Able to work approximately 25 hours/week
