Aroma Armour makes natural shoe fresheners that absorb moisture and eliminate odours helping people keep the shoes they love for longer. We have a growing community of happy customers (parents of sporty kids, athletes, everyday sneaker lovers) and strong reviews.
Now we're ready to level up our Shopify store to match the quality of our product, more authoritative, more converting, and built to turn first-time buyers into repeat customers.
The Role
We're looking for a Shopify developer with a strong eye for design and an understanding of conversion rate optimisation (CRO). You won't just be pushing code, you'll be helping us make strategic decisions about how our store looks, feels, and converts.
What You'll Be Doing
Redesigning and building product pages that clearly communicate our value proposition and build trust (reviews, UGC, before/after, guarantees)
Building bundles within our Shopify platform to create better VIP (return customer) offers
Building high-converting landing pages for paid traffic campaigns (Meta, Google)
Running CRO audits using heatmaps and session recordings to identify friction and drop-off points
Setting up and analysing A/B tests on headlines, layouts, CTAs, and imagery
Improving page speed and mobile experience
Adding and optimising trust signals with badges, guarantee banners, social proof sections
Implementing upsell, cross-sell, and bundle mechanics to increase AOV
Helping set up repeat purchase flows (subscriptions, loyalty, post-purchase offers)

Must-Have Skills
Shopify - Liquid, theme editing, Online Store 2.0
CRO experience - you understand what makes people buy, not just how to build pages
UI/UX design sense
HTML, CSS, JavaScript
Experience with a Shopify page builder (Replo, PageFly, GemPages, or Shogun)
Familiarity with Google Analytics 4 and reading conversion data
Experience with CRO/analytics tools like Hotjar or Lucky Orange
Nice to have but not necessary
Experience with Klaviyo or similar
Knowledge of direct-response copywriting principles
Basic graphic design skills (Canva, Figma)
Experience with subscription or loyalty apps
