Shopify Web Developer

About Us:
We are a growing e-commerce brand seeking a skilled Shopify Web Developer to support and implement website changes that enhance user experience, improve site performance, and align with our branding goals. Our ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and experienced in customizing Shopify themes, implementing responsive design, and working closely with marketing and design teams.

Responsibilities:
• Customize, update, and maintain Shopify store theme
• Implement new features, sections, and templates using Liquid, JSON, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Collaborate with design and marketing teams to bring new landing pages and UI/UX concepts to life
• Troubleshoot and resolve website bugs, layout issues, and theme conflicts
• Optimize site performance across desktop and mobile
• Integrate third-party Shopify apps and APIs as needed
• Ensure website changes are tested and deployed properly
• Maintain version control and organize documentation for code changes


Requirements:
• Proven experience developing on the Shopify platform (Liquid, Shopify CLI, ThemeKit)
• Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive design
• Familiarity with Shopify 2.0 features (Sections Everywhere, metafields, app blocks)
• Experience working with version control tools like Git
• Understanding of cross-browser compatibility and performance optimization
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Experience with Shopify apps and integrations is a plus


Preferred Skills (Bonus):
• Experience with Replo or similar landing page builders
• Familiarity with Figma or Adobe XD for translating designs into code
• Knowledge of SEO best practices for e-commerce
• Shopify
