Shopify Speed Optimization Expert

We are looking for a high-level Shopify Developer with a focus on performance optimization to speed up our store. Currently, our Google PageSpeed Insights score is hovering around 40 on Mobile, and we need to get this into the 90+ range without sacrificing design or functionality.

Our store uses GemPages, and we suspect it is contributing to significant render-blocking issues and excessive DOM size. We need someone who understands how to optimize page-builder content and clean up the underlying Liquid code.

Key Objectives:
Core Web Vitals: Improve LCP (Largest Contentful Paint), FID, and CLS scores.

Code Cleanup: Identify and remove "ghost" code/scripts from uninstalled apps.

App Audit: Review current apps and suggest lighter alternatives or hard-coded solutions.

GemPages Optimization: Optimize the way GemPages assets load (Lazy loading, prioritizing above-the-fold content).

Image & Video: Ensure all assets are WebP/AVIF formatted and properly sized for mobile.

Critical CSS: Implement critical CSS and defer non-essential JavaScript.

Requirements:
Proven track record of taking Shopify stores from "Red" (0-49) to "Green" (90-100) on Google PageSpeed Insights.
