Shopify & E-commerce Operations Coordinator
Part-Time | Remote | Australian Fashion Brand
Hi!
My name is Daisy, and I'm one of the founders of Ulu Lounge, an Australian women's resortwear brand.
We're a small but growing business with customers across Australia, the United States, Canada and the UK. We create premium resortwear using beautiful natural fabrics and work closely with our production partners in India.
We're now looking for someone to become an important part of our team.
This isn't a typical Virtual Assistant role.
We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys Shopify, e-commerce and creating a great customer experience. Someone who likes solving problems, improving systems and taking ownership of their work.
Our goal is to find someone who wants to grow with the business over the long term.
About the Role
You will become responsible for the day-to-day operations of our online store.
You'll work directly with me and help ensure that every customer has a premium experience from the
No two days will be the same.
Some days you'll be helping customers with sizing advice.
Other days you'll be uploading new products to Shopify, implementing website improvements, or managing inventory with our US fulfilment partner.
We're looking for someone who enjoys variety and takes pride in doing things properly.
Your Responsibilities
Customer Experience
Respond to customer
Provide sizing advice
Process returns, exchanges and refunds
Assist customers with shipping enquiries
Answer product and fabric questions
Resolve delivery issues
Escalate wholesale or influencer enquiries where required
Shopify & Website
Upload new products
Update product pages
Create collections
Optimise SEO titles and meta descriptions
Update homepage content
Maintain website quality
Test new functionality before it goes live
We also want someone who enjoys improving Shopify.
For example, you may be asked to:
Research the best Shopify apps
Implement new website features
Improve navigation
Add colour swatches
Improve product filtering
Recommend ways to improve the customer experience
You don't need to be a developer, but you should feel confident working within Shopify and enjoy learning new features.
US Inventory & Fulfilment
You'll manage the day-to-day operation of our US fulfilment platform.
This includes:
Monitoring inventory
Creating new products
Creating Advance Shipping Notices (ASNs)
Communicating with our fulfilment partner
Investigating inventory issues
Helping ensure customer orders are fulfilled smoothly
What We're Looking For
Essential
Previous Shopify experience
Experience working with an e-commerce business
Excellent written English
Strong attention to detail
Highly organised
Confident working independently
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Highly Regarded
Fashion or lifestyle brand experience
Canva
Pinterest
SEO
Inventory management
Experience working with a 3PL or fulfilment centre

Hours
Approximately 20 hours per week initially, with the opportunity for additional hours as the business grows.
