Shopify Developer – Store Overhaul & Section Implementation

This is a technical implementation project, not a design role. We need an experienced Shopify developer to overhaul our existing store by rebuilding sections, optimizing Liquid templates, ensuring schema compliance, and implementing proper metafield structures. You will work with our existing theme to refactor sections, fix responsive breakpoints, optimize asset delivery, and ensure all components follow Shopify 2.0 best practices. The ideal candidate has deep technical knowledge of Shopify's architecture, can work independently to diagnose and solve complex implementation issues, and has a track record of delivering production-ready stores.

Project Scope:
Refactor and rebuild existing theme sections
Implement dynamic content rendering
Optimize Liquid code for performance
Fix responsive design issues across breakpoints
Implement proper product variant selection logic with Liquid
Set up collection filtering using storefront filters API
Ensure proper structured data
Optimize theme performance
Troubleshoot and resolve conflicts between apps and theme code
Implement cart drawer functionality or optimize existing checkout flow

Must-Have Requirements:
3+ years of production Shopify development experience
Expert-level knowledge of Liquid templating including complex conditionals
Strong understanding of Shopify 2.0 architecture
Proficient in vanilla JavaScript
CSS knowledge including responsive design patterns
Experience with Shopify CLI
Understanding of Shopify's API rate limits
Ability to debug browser console errors and network requests independently

Project Details:
$700-$1,500 USD full-time depending on experience level and complexity of work
