Shopify Developer (Part-Time | Expert-Level | AU Store)

Expert Shopify Developers Only – Must Show Proof of Work

We’re looking for a highly experienced Shopify Plus developer with a strong track record using metafields, metaobjects, and building custom solutions on Online Store 2.0.

This is a part-time, hourly role supporting our Shopify Plus store in Australia, including an upcoming theme upgrade and ongoing structured content work.

What You'll Do:
- Upgrade our Shopify Plus theme to fully leverage Online Store 2.0
- Build and implement metaobjects for reusable, structured content (e.g., size guides, product highlights)
- Create and manage metafields across products, collections, and pages
- Customize templates using Liquid to render content dynamically
- Optimize for performance, responsiveness, and clean code

Must-Have Skills & Experience:
- 3+ years of hands-on Shopify development
- experience with Shopify Plus
- Expert-level knowledge of metafields and metaobjects
- Proficiency in Liquid, HTML/CSS, and JavaScript
- Fluent English and ability to work independently
- Clear proof of Shopify work, including structured content examples

Job Details:
Rate: $12–$18 AUD/hour (based on experience)
Hours: 10–20/week (part-time)
