Shopify Developer (Freelance / Part-Time)

Responsibilities

Manage and update product listings, collections, and site structure

Implement design and layout changes across the store (homepage, collection, and product pages)

Customize Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

Ensure all pages are optimized for performance, UX, and SEO

Collaborate with our brand and design team to execute creative layouts

Troubleshoot store issues and integrate new features or apps

Maintain consistent branding and user experience across devices

Analyze user behavior and suggest UI/UX improvements to increase conversion

Requirements

Proven experience working with Shopify and theme customization

Strong front-end coding skills (Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript)

Experience with UI/UX design principles and eCommerce flows

Solid understanding of SEO best practices for Shopify

Ability to work from Figma/Canva mockups and bring designs to life

Detail-oriented, creative, and proactive in problem-solving

Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently

Nice to Have

Experience with Shopify Plus, Klaviyo, or Google Analytics

Familiarity with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization

Basic graphic design ability (Photoshop, Figma, Canva)
