Shopify Developer & Designer

Our company will be hiring an experienced Shopify Developer, we are seeking a freelance contractor who *works smart*, is *agile*, and has strong *attention to detail*. The role will not start until May 2025, but please apply now if you are open to project or part-time work.

You must offer availability for regular calls (Monday to Friday) with our head of digital, who is based in Arizona, USA. He prefers 5am-7am Arizona Time for calls.

MUST be fluent in English, and be able to demonstrate expert-level ability to:
• Develop and maintain custom Shopify themes using Liquid templating language, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, while ensuring responsive design and cross-browser compatibility across all store templates and functionalities
• Implement and customize third-party apps and integrations within the Shopify ecosystem, including payment gateways, shipping solutions, and inventory management systems to enhance store functionality and user experience
• Create and optimize custom applications using Shopify's API to extend platform capabilities, including building webhooks, managing authentication, and handling data synchronization between Shopify and external systems
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate wireframes and mockups into pixel-perfect, high-performance Shopify stores that align with brand guidelines and maximize conversion rates
• Perform regular maintenance, debugging, and optimization of existing Shopify stores, including improving page load times, implementing SEO best practices, and ensuring PCI compliance for secure transactions
