Shopify Developer

We are looking for a reliable Shopify Developer to help build, improve, and maintain Shopify stores. The role will involve theme customisation, Liquid development, app integrations, performance improvements, bug fixing, and ongoing store support.

You should be comfortable working independently, communicating clearly, and solving problems without needing constant supervision.

-- Responsibilities :

- Customise Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Build and modify sections, templates, product pages, collection pages, carts, and checkout-related experiences where Shopify allows.
- Troubleshoot bugs across desktop and mobile.
- Improve site speed, usability, and conversion-focused elements.
- Set up and configure Shopify apps when needed.
- Work with product, collection, metafield, and Shopify admin structures.
- Communicate progress clearly and flag issues early.
- Follow instructions carefully and document completed work.

-- Required skills

- Strong experience with Shopify Liquid.
- Good HTML, CSS, and JavaScript skills.
- Experience editing Shopify themes, sections, snippets, and templates.
- Understanding of responsive design.
- Ability to work with metafields, product data, collections, and Shopify settings.
- Basic understanding of SEO, page speed, and ecommerce UX.
- Good written & spoken English.
- Reliable internet, availability, and communication.

--Nice to have

- Shopify Plus experience.
- Experience with Online Store 2.0.
- Experience with Git.
- Experience with page builders such as Replo, GemPages, Shogun, PageFly, or similar.
- Experience with CRO-focused landing pages.
- Basic graphic/design sense.
- Familiarity with apps such as Klaviyo, Recharge, ---------- , Loox, Yotpo, Search & Discovery, or subscription/upsell apps.
