Shopify Developer + Designer (Part-Time, Project-Based to Start) for DTC Brand

About Us
We're The Mum Crew ( ---------- ), a US-based direct-to-consumer brand selling kids' and adult drinkware. We have 250+ designs, a loyal Instagram following, and a fast-growing email and customer list. The brand is doing well, and we need a great developer and designer to help us ship updates and landing pages faster than we can today.
We're starting with a specific paid project. If that goes well, this turns into ongoing part-time work, roughly 10-20 hours per week.

What You'll Do
Build high-converting landing pages for paid traffic and email campaigns
Make ongoing improvements to our Shopify storefront: PDPs, collection pages, navigation, theme tweaks, speed
Create product imagery and creative using AI tools (Photoroom, Higgsfield, Nano Banana, etc.)
Bring real design taste and CRO instincts to every page you touch
Collaborate closely with the founder and a small team
Move fast. We ship often and iterate.

What We're Looking For:

Required:
2+ years of hands-on Shopify development (theme editing, Liquid, sections, custom blocks)
A strong eye for design. Send us your best work and we should see it immediately.
Experience using AI tools for image generation, editing, or product photography
Excellent written English
Reliable internet and ability to overlap at least 2-3 hours with US Eastern time

Nice to Have:
Replo experience (big plus)
Familiarity with Klaviyo email design
Experience working with US-based DTC brands
Conversion rate optimization background

Working Style:
Starts with a defined, paid initial project
Ongoing work after that is roughly 10-20 hours per week, flexible
Communication is a mix of written briefs, async messages, occasional calls or Loom videos
Weekly or biweekly pay via Wise
Long-term ongoing relationship with the right person

Compensation:
Initial project: quoted as a fixed project price or hourly, your preference
Ongoing part-time
