???? HIRING: Shopify Admin / Light Developer (20 hrs/week) – Immediate Start for Sprint to Launch
We are launching a new Shopify store and are looking to hire a Shopify expert to help us finish the final sprint to launch.
This is a part-time, 20 hours per week position. Pay is 6,500 PHP per week.
We are moving fast — interviews will be scheduled tomorrow and we plan to make a hiring decision same day so you can start immediately.
? ABOUT THE ROLE:
Your primary focus for your first 1–2 weeks will be helping us complete our pre-launch checklist for the site. This includes:
Shopify backend setup fixes and audit
Klaviyo flow integration (welcome flow, abandoned cart flow)
YMQ Product Options setup testing (personalization fields and proof request checkbox)
Tagging logic and pre-launch testing
After this sprint is complete, you will move on to the next project, which is building out our proof approval process automation using Mechanic (Shopify automation platform). You will then stay on for Shopify site maintenance, app configurations, and admin work as needed.
???? ABOUT YOU:
Strong Shopify backend experience (product setup, order management, app installs and configuration)
Ability to troubleshoot Shopify issues, test flows, and confirm functionality
Familiarity with Shopify apps like YMQ,
Some light coding ability (CSS, Liquid, JSON, or webhook logic) — doesn’t need to be advanced, but you should know your way around a little code and integrations
Organized, fast, and responsive
Good communication skills (clear English, prompt replies)
Able to follow instructions precisely without going outside the process unless asked
???? HOW TO APPLY (IMPORTANT – READ CAREFULLY):
When you apply, please include the following:
A brief introduction about your Shopify experience (1–2 short paragraphs).
Confirm that you are available for an interview tomorrow and ready to start immediately if selected.
Required test question:
“Please write a short paragraph (3–5 sentences) explaining how you would test whether a Shopify product page is correctly displaying its product options (such as color, size, or custom text fields). Please also explain how you would confirm that this data is flowing into the order properly after checkout.”
?? Applications that do not include this test paragraph will not be considered. This helps us quickly find candidates who are detail-oriented and able to follow instructions.
???? WHY THIS ROLE?
We are a small, fast-moving team getting ready to launch. You will work directly with the owner (me) and our designer. If you are reliable, fast, and detail-oriented, there is potential for ongoing work after this launch.
