Job Overview:

We’re seeking a Senior Developer with 5+ years of experience in WordPress/Divi, React, GitHub, hosting, and SEO tasks to lead website rebuilds and manage ongoing updates. You’ll handle projects like redesigning client sites (15-20 pages), implementing 301 redirects, optimizing hosting, and performing technical fixes. This role is for seasoned professionals only, not junior developers.

Responsibilities:

Build/customize responsive WordPress sites using Divi, ensuring fast load times and SEO optimization (e.g., rebuilds for clients).

Manage/update a React-based site via GitHub (version control, pull requests, minor updates).

Configure/troubleshoot hosting (e.g., WP Engine, SiteGround) for uptime and performance.

Implement 301 redirects for migrations (via Yoast or .htaccess).

Perform technical fixes (e.g., plugin conflicts, DNS, broken links).

Create/tweak UI designs in Divi using templates or custom CSS for professional layouts.

Collaborate on project scoping, timelines, and optimizations (e.g., speed, conversions).

Requirements:

5+ years professional WordPress experience, with deep Divi expertise.

3+ years React/JavaScript experience, including GitHub workflows (repos, commits, pull requests).

Proven hosting management (e.g., WP Engine, Bluehost, Cloudflare) and technical troubleshooting.

Experience with 301 redirects and SEO (Yoast, .htaccess).

Strong responsive design/UI skills using Divi or custom CSS (no advanced design tools needed).

Excellent communication, proactive problem-solving, and project management.

Portfolio with Divi sites, React projects, and technical solutions (links required).

Not for junior developers; must handle complex projects independently.

Preferred Skills:

SEO plugins (Yoast, Rank Math), performance tools (WP Rocket).

Familiarity with Australian web standards.
