About us
We're a small creative studio based in Bulgaria, building modern, design-driven WordPress sites for clients across multiple industries. We work primarily with Elementor Pro and the Crocoblock (JetEngine) ecosystem. We're growing and looking for a long-term partner — not a one-off freelancer.
Who we're looking for
A senior-level WordPress builder who lives and breathes Elementor Pro (and Crocoblock). Someone who can take a design and turn it into a pixel-perfect, fast, responsive WordPress site without needing hand-holding. We care about craft, attention to detail, and a modern design sensibility — not just "getting it done."
What you'll be doing
- Building custom WordPress sites from designs (this is the core work)
- Working from various design sources — Figma files, PDF mockups, and AI-generated designs (we use Claude for some design iterations). You'll need comfort interpreting designs without always having pixel-perfect specs.
- Working extensively with JetEngine, JetSmartFilters, and the broader Crocoblock suite — custom post types, dynamic content, AJAX filtering, listings
- Creating modern UI effects: glassmorphism headers with backdrop blur, smooth scroll behaviors, scroll-triggered animations, sticky elements with transitions
- Implementing WooCommerce features and debugging cart/checkout issues
- Handling occasional emergency fixes when client sites break (you stay calm, diagnose methodically, fix)
- Helping with template-based sites when we're busy with client communication
- Performance optimization — you understand that Jet plugins can slow down sites, and you know how to keep things fast
Required skills
- 4+ years building production WordPress sites with Elementor Pro
- Strong experience with Crocoblock / JetEngine ecosystem in real projects (not just tutorials)
- Solid understanding of WooCommerce
- Comfortable writing custom CSS and basic JavaScript when widgets aren't enough
- Strong visual judgment — you can build pixel-perfect from Figma files AND make educated decisions when working from less detailed sources like PDFs
- Flawless responsive behavior down to 480px
- Debugging mindset — you can methodically figure out why something broke
- Lighthouse-aware — you care about performance scores
- Good written English
Nice to have
- Comfortable using modern AI tools (Cursor, ChatGPT, Claude) where they speed things up
- Design sensibility — you can spot when something looks "off" even when it technically matches the spec, and suggest improvements
- Some custom PHP for WordPress hooks and modifications
- Animation library experience (GSAP, Framer Motion)
What we offer
- Long-term, stable role — we're looking for someone to grow with the studio, not a one-project hire
- Base salary of $700/month for 25 guaranteed hours/week
- Overflow hours at $10/hour during busy weeks, always with 3+ days notice
- Bi-weekly payments
- 13th month pay in December
- Yearly raises based on performance and consistency
- Async-friendly workflow — we don't micromanage; we give clear briefs and trust you to execute
- Clients are based in Bulgaria; all client communication goes through us — you focus purely on the build
- Content (text) will always be provided ready, in any language including Cyrillic — you just implement it
What we expect from you
- Exclusivity during your working hours with us (no parallel clients on our time)
- Daily updates on what you shipped
- Initiative — you ask "what's next" instead of waiting
- Honesty — if something is going to take longer or you don't know how to do it, you say so
- Reliability — you don't ghost. If you need to leave, you give proper notice (2 weeks).
Hiring process
1. Apply with the info requested below
2. Short video interview (15 min) for shortlisted candidates
3. Paid test task (~$30, takes 1–2 hours) — a small design
4. 2-week trial to make sure we're a good fit for each other
5. Long-term role if all goes well
How to apply
Start your message with the word "BLUEPRINT" so I know you've actually read this post (you'd be surprised how few do).
Then share:
1. 3 live URLs of sites you built preferably with elementor pro (and JetEngine work)
2. Your most challenging WordPress project and what made it hard
3. How you use AI tools in your daily workflow (or why you don't)
4. Your timezone and typical working hours
Looking forward to meeting you.
