## **Job Overview**
We are hiring a **Senior WordPress Developer** to fully manage and protect a **mission-critical WordPress + WooCommerce website**. This is a **full-time, long-term role** for someone with **deep technical expertise**, not a junior or entry-level WordPress assistant.
This site is content-heavy, SEO-driven, and compliance-sensitive. We need someone who can **build, optimize, troubleshoot, and maintain the site at an expert level without breaking things**.

## **Core Responsibilities**
### **Advanced WordPress Development**
* Architect and maintain a complex WordPress site using **Kadence Theme** and **Gutenberg block editor**
* Develop and customize blocks, templates, and layouts (no page-builder-only users)
* Work directly with **PHP, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS** (not just basic edits)
* Create and manage **custom post types, taxonomies, and templates**
* Safely implement structural changes without site downtime
### **Advanced Troubleshooting & Stability**
* Diagnose and resolve complex WordPress, plugin, and WooCommerce issues
* Debug PHP errors, database issues, and server-level conflicts
* Handle plugin conflicts and compatibility issues proactively
* Maintain staging ? production workflows correctly
### **Performance & Page Speed Optimization**
* Optimize for **Core Web Vitals (LCP, CLS, INP)**
* Advanced experience with:
* Caching (server-level + plugin-based)
* Image optimization
* Script and asset optimization
* Database optimization
* Experience with tools such as **WP Rocket, LiteSpeed, Cloudflare, Redis, or similar**
* Maintain fast load times on content-heavy pages
### **SEO & Technical Structure Support**
* Implement advanced SEO structures (clean URLs, internal linking, schema)
* Work with **Rank Math SEO** at a technical level
* Ensure proper indexing, canonicalization, and crawl efficiency
* Support large-scale content publishing without SEO issues
