Senior Web Developer — Technical SEO & JSON-LD Structured Data (Short- Term Project)

Looking to hire a senior front-end / web developer to execute a website rebuild and technical SEO overhaul across a personal research portal and several related fintech corporate domains. The specific domains will be shared with shortlisted candidates after initial screening.
This is not a graphic design or content writing role. You will rebuild a minimalist, typography-driven site from a provided design system, repair indexing problems across multiple domains, and implement custom structured data that links related entities in Google's Knowledge Graph.

Key Responsibilities:
Site rebuild: Modernize a legacy static-HTML personal site into a fast, minimalist, typography-driven hub on a lightweight platform (static site generator, Ghost, Webflow, or lean WordPress — we'll decide together). Strict Core Web Vitals targets
(LCP under 2.5s) and semantic HTML5 throughout.

A complete design system (fonts, color tokens, spacing variables, CSS) will be provided, your job is implementation, not visual invention.

Structured data: Implement and validate provided multi-entity JSON-LD blocks
(Person, Organization, FinancialService) with cross-referenced identifiers, passing

Google's Rich Results Test and the Schema.org validator with zero errors.

Indexing triage: Audit robots.txt and meta robots directives across several domains;
remove erroneous noindex/nofollow directives; configure and submit XML sitemaps;
verify properties in Google Search Console.

Redirect architecture: Implement an exact 301 redirect map for legacy .html URLs
(server-side: .htaccess, Netlify _redirects, or Cloudflare rules) to preserve existing link
equity.

Press/media section: Build a clean, responsive press grid linking to international
coverage (tier-1 finance publications), with correct rel attributes and link handling on
outbound links.

Required Skills
Senior front-end execution: semantic HTML5, modern CSS (custom properties,
clamp-based responsive type), vanilla JavaScript
Demonstrated technical SEO work: Knowledge Graph / entity SEO, structured data,
Search Console, Core Web Vitals remediation — with live examples you personally
built
Proven custom JSON-LD authoring (not plugin-generated output)
Comfort with DNS records, 301 redirects, and hosting configuration — note: you will
