THE ROLE
The company is looking for Full-time, Senior Software Engineers based in the Philippines to join a growing team of 20+ developers. The ideal candidates will bring robust backend skills to support a team mainly focused on frontend development. They’ll build the systems that help construction teams each day on large projects such as highways, bridges, and hospitals—creating infrastructure that millions will rely on in the years to come.

This is a remote-first, hands-on engineering role that involves tackling complex technical challenges while building products construction teams genuinely enjoy using. The role covers the entire stack, from creating delightful user interfaces to architecting robust backend systems that enable real-time collaboration at scale.

Senior Full Stack Engineers (3–4 positions)
Required: 5+ years experience with React, TypeScript, Tailwind
Beneficial: Redis, Node.js, Go, Python
Infrastructure: Serverless, WebSocket, workflow systems
Note: The current team is frontend-heavy; these hires will complement the team with backend expertise.

Senior Staff Engineer / Tech Lead (1–2 positions)
Required: 7+ years experience with React, TypeScript, Tailwind
Beneficial: Redis, Node.js, Go, Python
Infrastructure: Serverless, WebSocket, workflow systems
Note: The current team is frontend-heavy; these hires will complement the team with backend expertise.

Senior DevOps Engineer
Focus: Cloud security and upskilling
Teach security practices to the existing team as needed

Senior Security Engineer
Focus: Endpoint and network security

ABOUT YOU

Essential:
- Based in the Philippines with reliable internet connection
- 5+ years’ experience in software engineering with JavaScript or TypeScript skills
- Deep experience with React and modern frontend patterns (Redux client-side)
- Proven backend development skills—experience building and scaling production system
- Experience with real-time applications and WebSocket implementations
- Deep understanding of database design and optimisation (NoSQL experience valued)
- Track record of delivering quality code through peer reviews and testing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for async collaboration

Highly Valued:
- Experience with Node.js, serverless architectures, and event-driven systems
- Knowledge of Redis for caching and real-time features
- Awareness of Go or Python for backend services
- Experience with GCP or similar cloud platforms
- CI/CD pipeline expertise
- Flutter or mobile development experience

Not Looking ---------- or Java backgrounds (the stack is different)
