Senior Software Engineer

About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to lead our development team, guiding the development of our software service. This role requires a dynamic individual who is skilled in both backend and frontend technologies, specifically FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, PostgreSQL, ReactJS, and Docker. As a Senior Engineer, you will oversee junior developers, ensuring the seamless integration of the frontend and backend components of our projects.

Responsibilities:

· Lead, mentor, and oversee junior developers.

· Collaborate with the CEO to define project requirements and timelines.

· Design, develop, and maintain software solutions using FastAPI, PostgreSQL, and ReactJS.

· Ensure product and feature completion according to business requirements.

· Use JIRA or similar project/ticketing software to track product features and milestone progress.

· Implement best practices in software development and maintain code quality.

Requirements:

· Proficiency in Python and JavaScript.

· Extensive experience with FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, PostgreSQL, ReactJS, and Docker.

· Strong leadership skills and experience overseeing development projects.

· Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.



Bonus:

· Experience with Stripe API and payment processing for credit cards.

· Experience with healthcare industry.

· Experience debugging Docker containers with VSCode using Pydebug

· Experience with AWS system architecture and cloud deployment of web applications.



We are a health care services company based in the US. We offer hybrid work with at least 3 days a week in the office after a probationary period. We provide health care (medical/dental/vision) to employees who complete their probation.
