JOB OVERVIEW

About RepsShield:

RepsShield is revolutionizing how real estate professionals manage their time and activities. Our web platform helps agents and brokers track activities, integrate with calendars/emails, and streamline approvals. We're now expanding our reach by launching a lightweight mobile application for iOS and Android, leveraging our existing web codebase.

The Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior React Developer to lead the implementation of our mobile strategy using CapacitorJS. You will be responsible for converting our existing React/TypeScript web application into efficient, native-like mobile apps for iOS and Android, ensuring a seamless and productive experience for our users on the go. This role is perfect for a developer who excels at bridging web technologies with native mobile capabilities and enjoys the challenge of optimizing for performance and user experience across platforms.

What You'll Do:

-CapacitorJS Implementation: Design, develop, and deploy the RepsShield mobile application for iOS and Android using CapacitorJS, leveraging our existing React/TypeScript codebase.
-"Lightweight" Mobile Experience: Implement logic to create a focused, lightweight mobile experience, prioritizing core functionalities like on-the-go time tracking and activity approvals, while strategically adapting or omitting web-specific features.
-Native Feature Integration: Utilize Capacitor plugins to integrate essential mobile-native features, including background geolocation (for accurate activity tracking), push notifications, and robust offline storage capabilities.
-Performance Optimization: Ensure the mobile application performs smoothly and responsively on various iOS and Android devices, optimizing for battery life and data usage.
-Deployment & Maintenance: Manage the entire mobile app lifecycle, including configuring build processes, navigating app store submission requirements (Apple App Store, Google Play Store), and performing annual maintenance updates.
-Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with product management and design teams to translate requirements into technical solutions and ensure a high-quality user experience.
-Code Quality: Maintain high standards for code quality, testability, and documentation within a TypeScript environment.

What We're Looking For:

-5+ years of experience as a Front-End or Full-Stack Developer with a strong emphasis on React and TypeScript.
-Proven experience with CapacitorJS (or Cordova/Ionic), including successfully launching at least one application to both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
-Expertise in modern React development, including hooks, context API, and routing.
-Proficiency with TypeScript for robust and scalable application development.
-Strong understanding of web technologies (HTML5, CSS3, Tailwind CSS) and build tools (Vite).
-Experience integrating and managing Capacitor plugins for native device features (e.g., Geolocation, Push Notifications, File System).
-Familiarity with mobile app deployment processes, including Xcode, Android Studio, provisioning profiles, certificates, and app store guidelines.
-Ability to optimize web applications for mobile performance and user experience.
-Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
-Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage project timelines effectively.

Bonus Points (Nice to Have):

-Experience with Node.js and Express.js (our backend stack).
-Familiarity with PostgreSQL and Drizzle ORM.
-Prior experience in the real estate tech sector.

Why Join RepsShield?

-Be a pivotal part of our product expansion into the mobile space.
-Work on a modern tech stack with a focus on cutting-edge solutions.
-Collaborative and supportive team environment.
-Competitive salary and benefits package.
