JOB OVERVIEW

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Power Platform Developer to join our dynamic team as an independent contractor. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing and implementing solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI. This role requires a deep understanding of the Power Platform ecosystem, as well as the ability to design and deliver innovative solutions that meet business needs.


Job Responsibilities:

Work closely with a cross-functional team to develop Power Platform applications, support colleagues, provide insight into Power Platform features, and research capabilities.

Engage with clients to understand business needs to deliver project solutions and ongoing support.

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, refine backlogs, and design scalable Power Platform solutions that align with business needs.

Develop and customize Canvas Apps, Model-Driven Apps, Power Pages, workflows, and SharePoint solutions while integrating data sources and optimizing performance.

Maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, process flows, and user guides to support development, maintenance, and user adoption.

Participate in the Agile development process.

Manage project schedules, coordinate meetings, and track milestones to ensure efficient time allocation and adherence to deadlines.



Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Strong written & verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Capable of documenting system designs, workflows, and processes clearly and concisely.

Ability to design, optimize, and troubleshoot advanced Power Apps solutions for business processes.

Experience designing, creating, and automating business processes.

Understanding of Power Pages architecture, security, and customization for enterprise applications.

Experience in creating dynamic, data-driven reports and dashboards.

Knowledge of relational data management (i.e., SQL), data modeling, and best practices for managing large datasets.



Nice-to-Have Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Experience in the Power Apps ecosystem (Power Platform, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, Power BI).

Experience with the following development languages/tools: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, JSON, Dataflows, Power FX, C#, Microsoft Liquid, M Language, FetchXML, DAX Functions, SQL, PowerShell, XRM Toolbox, SharePoint, Copilot / Copilot Studio, SharePoint Agents.

Certified in Power Platform technologies and other Microsoft 365 related certifications, including Azure.

Experience as a SharePoint Site Owner, Site Collection Administrator, or Microsoft 365 Administrator.

Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365, Microsoft Teams, Exchange, Intune, Azure, and PowerShell.

Skilled in customizing SharePoint lists and integrating various systems using PowerApps.


Compensation:

Contracts will be month-to-month. Time sheets are due by Friday EOB EST. Payment will be through a wire transfer at the mid and end points of each month.

The contractor is responsible for their own taxes.
