Senior Full Stack Developer ( Node Js / React)

WORK HOURS: Monday to Friday 10am-2pm EST, with the remaining 4 hours of your shift flexible.

DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborate with team members to design and develop robust, scalable software solutions
• Write well-designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices
• Enjoy writing code for business and/or data layers
• Integrate data from various back-end services and databases
• Ensure cross-platform optimization for mobile phones
• Ensure responsiveness of applications
• Design and develop APIs
• Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs
• Create and maintain software documentation
• Be responsible for maintaining, expanding and scaling our sites
• Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities

REQUIREMENTS:

• 6-8 years of relevant experience
• Have had senior dev experience (led a project)
• Project management experience (have organized a team)
• Peer code reviews
• Deep familiarity with JIRA, AWS deployment and the Git workflow
• Expertise in the Javascript Framework Development (Node, Meteor, or Express, etc)
• Proficient in HTML, CSS, and at least one other JS front end framework (React, Angular, or Vue)
• Experience with Rest API design
