’Hello im transitioning an existing WordPress site into a high-performance, custom, API-driven national platform. WordPress is being fully retired. The goal is speed, scalability, and deep system integration, not plugins or themes.

I’m personally handling product direction, UX/UI, and layout using Bolt.new. What I need is a backend-first engineer who can architect and implement everything underneath my design.

At a high level, the backend must support:

Platform & Hosting

Migration from WordPress to a fast, modern hosting stack suitable for a national platform

Backend architecture built around APIs, data models, and performance

Infrastructure that supports growth, integrations, and future mobile expansion

Integrations & Syncing (Critical)

Two-way syncing across multiple CRMs, marketing platforms, email systems, and automations

Deep use of Zapier / webhooks / APIs (not one-off zaps)

Support for funnels, calculators, lead capture, and attribution logic


Email flows, recapture, identity tracking, and cross-platform sync

Analytics, Pixels & Tracking

Google Analytics, Meta, pixels, event tracking

Funnel and webinar tracking

Server-side or backend-aware tracking where appropriate

Content, SEO & Data Scaling

Ability to mass-produce and upload national content (blogs, data feeds, tools) efficiently

SEO continuity during migration

Structured data workflows, not manual publishing

User & B2B Architecture

National website for veterans

B2B branding and profiles (e.g., other realtors/partners)

Foundation for user accounts and profiles in later phases

Support for calculators, tools, and dashboards

Ecosystem Coordination

The backend must be designed to work cleanly with specialists I will hire separately (funnels/webinars, ads, social, GHL, etc.)

Your role is to tie the entire system together so it feels seamless, not fragmented

Bonus (Not Required, but Valuable)

Mobile app backend experience (I already have an app)

Experience supporting both web + mobile from the same backend

This role is not:

UX/UI design

WordPress development

Social media, ads, or funnel execution

IT support or low-code Power Platform work
