The Opportunity

We’re seeking a senior-level automation expert with proven experience designing and orchestrating advanced agentic workflows using tools like CrewAI, LangChain, and n8n (or similar platforms). This is more than a build-and-execute role—you will architect, innovate, and collaborate directly with the founder in strategic daily deep-dives to shape the future of how an entire industry can operate.

You should thrive in ambiguity, love designing agentic systems that mimic human workflows, and be excited about turning a traditional business into an AI-first company.

What You’ll Be Doing
• Architect, build, and deploy sophisticated AI agent workflows using CrewAI, LangChain, and/or custom-built solutions.
• Design scalable systems that automate estimating, client communication, reporting, CRM management, and internal coordination.
• Write clean, modular Python and JavaScript code to integrate APIs, manipulate data, and create intelligent agents that talk to each other.
• Build in n8n or similar orchestration tools, and experiment with LLMs, embeddings, vector stores, and memory-enhanced agents.
• Run daily 1-hour strategic sessions with the founder to plan, teach, troubleshoot, and iterate.
• Optimize existing automations and propose cutting-edge use cases, helping the business evolve from scrappy to scalable.
• Document everything with clarity and ensure the infrastructure can be maintained and extended.

Who You Are
• 5+ years experience in automation, scripting, and AI/ML system design.
• Expert in multi-agent orchestration (CrewAI, AutoGen, LangChain, or equivalent frameworks).
• Proficient in Python and/or JavaScript, with strong API development and integration skills.
• Deep understanding of LLM-based tools, prompt engineering, and real-world agent use cases.
• Comfortable designing architecture from scratch, not just following recipes.
• Excellent communicator—able to teach, brainstorm, and collaborate daily.
• Bonus: Experience building AI systems for service businesses or operational workflows.
