Script Writer for Real Estate Video Content (Charlotte-Based Realtor)

I’m a Charlotte-based realtor who tours and films a high volume of homes every week, creating walkthrough-style videos for buyers and renters. The biggest bottleneck right now isn’t filming -- it’s scripting.

That’s where you come in.

I’m looking for a script writer who understands how to talk about homes in a way that actually keeps people watching. This isn’t just about describing features. It’s about turning a property into a story someone wants to follow from start to finish.

Every home has a narrative -- the layout, the flow, the lifestyle it offers, who it’s perfect for, what makes it different. Your job is to bring that out in a way that feels natural, conversational, and engaging.

What I need:
You’ll take raw details about a home (layout, location, features, price point, target buyer/renter) and turn that into a clean, tight script I can voice over in a walkthrough video. These are typically one-take style tours, so the script needs to flow smoothly and feel like I’m naturally talking, not reading.

This is not about flashy editing or over-the-top writing. The priority is:

Strong storytelling instincts
Clear, informative delivery
Natural, conversational tone
Ability to highlight what actually matters to a viewer

The goal is simple: make people want to keep watching while also helping them understand the home.

Ideal candidate:

Has experience writing scripts, content, or copy (real estate is a plus, but not required)
Understands how to describe spaces in a clear and engaging way
Can think from the viewer’s perspective -- what they care about, what they’re curious about
Keeps things concise while still adding value in every sentence
Can match a casual, relatable tone (not robotic or overly formal)
