About the Role
The Sales Manager is a key leadership role responsible for managing and scaling 123Loadboard's Philippines-based remote team, which supports the US and Canadian freight markets. This individual will oversee a distributed team of Business Development Representatives (BDRs), Carrier Sales Representatives, and Dispatchers, all working remotely from the Philippines focused entirely on acquiring and serving carriers and brokers operating across North America.
The Sales Manager's focus is on team performance, operational excellence, and ensuring the remote team operates seamlessly in alignment with US and Canadian market hours, standards, and goals. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives managing remote talent, building accountability structures, and bridging the gap between Philippine-based reps and North American customers.

Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Remote Management
• Directly manage and mentor a fully remote team of BDRs, Carrier Sales Reps, and Dispatchers based in the Philippines
• Set clear performance expectations, KPIs, and accountability structures aligned with US and Canadian market goals
• Conduct regular 1:1s, team huddles, and performance reviews, coordinating schedules across time zones as needed
• Identify talent gaps and partner with HR on hiring, onboarding, and development of Philippines-based talent
• Foster a high-performance, remote-first team culture that reflects 123Loadboard's values and North American business standards
Business Development (US & Canada Market)
• Oversee BDR outreach strategy targeting carriers, shippers and freight brokers operating in the US and Canadian markets
• Partner with the VP of Sales on quota-setting, outreach cadences, and sales playbooks tailored for North American prospects
• Ensure BDRs are effectively prospecting, qualifying, and handing off leads for US and Canadian accounts
• Track and report on pipeline activity, conversion rates, and revenue contribution from the Philippines-based BDR team
Carrier Sales Operations (US & Canada)
• Ensure Carrier Sales Reps are effectively matching loads to carriers across US and Canadian lanes, maximizing coverage and minimizing empty miles
• Monitor daily North American load board activity, spot rate trends, and carrier availability
• Support the team in building and maintaining strong relationships with US and Canadian carriers
• Drive consistent adoption of 123Loadboard platform tools and best practices across the remote team
Dispatch Oversight
• Supervise the remote Dispatcher team to ensure timely, accurate load assignments and proactive communication with US and Canadian carriers
• Establish and enforce SOPs for dispatch workflows, check calls, and issue escalation with clear expectations for operating in North American time zones
• Collaborate with Carrier Sales Reps to align dispatch capacity with load volume across key US and Canadian lanes
Reporting & Operational Alignment
• Deliver weekly and monthly performance reports to the VP of Sales covering tea ---------- trics, productivity, and pipeline health
• Ensure the Philippines-based team is aligned with US and Canadian market hours, communication standards, and customer expectations
• Surface process improvements, tooling gaps, and resourcing needs proactively
• Serve as the primary liaison between Philippines-based reps and US-based leadership

Qualifications
Required
• 5+ years of experience in sales, business development, or operations, ideally within freight, logistics, or transportation
• 2+ years of people management experience, with a proven track record of leading remote or distributed teams
• Strong understanding of freight brokerage, carrier sales, and/or dispatch operations in North American markets
• Comfortable operating in US and/or Canadian time zones and managing a team that does the same
• Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal) — the primary language of all customer-facing and internal work
• Proven ability to drive accountability and results in a remote, metrics-driven environment
• Proficiency with CRM systems, load boards, and standard business productivity and communication tools
Preferred
• Direct experience supporting US or Canadian freight brokers or carriers in a remote capacity
• Familiarity with 123Loadboard or similar platforms (DAT, Truckstop, etc.)
• Experience managing BPO or offshore teams serving North American clients
• Background in scaling remote teams from early-stage operations

What Success Looks Like
Timeframe Milestone
30 Days Deep understanding of team structure, current KPIs, tooling, and open gaps. Relationships established with all direct reports.
60 Days Process improvements identified and implemented for BDR outreach cadence, carrier sales workflows, and dispatch SOPs.
90 Days Team hitting or trending toward baseline KPIs. Regular reporting cadence established with VP of Sales.
6 Months Demonstrable growth in active carrier accounts and load coverage. Clear development plans in place for all tea ---------- mbers.
