The Role
We're launching our US market expansion and need a driven Sales Development Representative to help us secure retail partnerships. Your mission: identify and engage small businesses across the USA to host our "Orb" verification devices in exchange for a monthly rental fee plus pre-paid customer vouchers.
This isn't just cold calling - you're offering businesses guaranteed revenue ($300+/month rental + meal/product vouchers) while bringing them foot traffic and positioning them as innovation leaders in their community.
What You'll Do
Prospecting & Research (40%)
Identify high-potential small businesses in target categories: cafes, restaurants, convenience stores, retail shops, co-working spaces
Research local businesses in priority markets (university towns, tech hubs, high-traffic urban areas)
Build targeted lists based on location, foot traffic, and demographic alignment
Outbound Outreach (40%)
Execute multi-channel outreach campaigns:
Use proven
Handle objections professionally around privacy concerns, space requirements, and tech trust
Emphasize the zero-risk revenue model and brand positioning benefits
Lead Qualification & Handoff (15%)
Qualify prospects on: location quality, space availability, willingness to host tech, decision-maker access
Book discovery calls or site visits for senior sales team
Prepare handoff notes with business details, key concerns, and next steps
Pipeline Management & Reporting (5%)
Maintain accurate records in CRM (Salesforce/HubSpot)
Track daily/weekly metrics: outreach volume, response rates, qualified leads, conversion rates
Participate in weekly pipeline reviews and strategy sessions
What Makes You Perfect for This.
Required:
1-2+ years of outbound B2B sales experience, ideally selling to US small businesses
Exceptional written and spoken English with a friendly, professional demeanor
Proven ability to hit daily activity targets (minimum 50+ quality touches/day)
Comfortable with rejection - you thrive on turning "no" into "tell me more"
Tech-savvy: experience with CRM systems,
Self-motivated and results-oriented with strong time management
Reliable home office setup with quality internet and quiet calling environment
Bonus Points:
Experience in restaurant tech, retail partnerships, or location-based services
Familiarity with crypto/Web3 space or identity verification
Existing network in target markets (hospitality, retail, campus businesses)
Experience working with startup pace and ambiguity
