JOB OVERVIEW

Position Overview
Home Savvy is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) / Business Development Representative (BDR) to help expand our customer base and strategic partnerships. This role is responsible for identifying and engaging potential clients and partners through outbound sales efforts, nurturing leads, booking demos and partnership meetings, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our sales process.
As an early-stage company, we are looking for someone who is proactive, adaptable, and excited about helping build a growing brand in the home and design industry.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Generation & Prospecting
Research, build, and maintain targeted lead lists of potential customers and partners.
Identify and engage prospects across various industries, including:
Interior designers and decorators
Real estate agents and teams
Home stagers
Airbnb and short-term rental hosts
Property managers
Furniture and home décor creators
Home-focused influencers and affiliates
Small businesses within the home, design, and real estate sectors

Outbound Sales & Outreach
Execute cold outreach campaigns through email, phone calls, LinkedIn, Instagram, direct messages, and other communication channels.
Communicate Home Savvy's value proposition clearly and effectively to prospects who may be unfamiliar with the brand.
Conduct consistent and professional follow-ups with warm leads and interested prospects.
Schedule and coordinate discovery calls, demos, and partnership discussions.

Sales Pipeline Management
Track and manage leads, conversations, responses, objections, and next steps using CRM tools and sales tracking systems.
Maintain accurate records of all outreach activities and lead statuses.
Monitor pipeline performance and provide regular updates on sales activities and opportunities.

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
Test and refine outreach messaging, sales approaches, and engagement strategies.
Share customer feedback, objections, market insights, and frequently asked questions with the team.
Contribute ideas to improve sales processes, customer acquisition strategies, and partnership initiatives.
Remain adaptable and receptive to feedback as messaging, offers, and target audiences continue to evolve.

Qualifications
Experience in sales, appointment setting, lead generation, business development, or related customer-facing roles.
Experience conducting cold outreach through email, phone, LinkedIn, Instagram, or direct messaging platforms.
Ability to communicate effectively with professionals, business owners, and decision-makers.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple leads and priorities simultaneously.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Self-motivated, disciplined, and results-oriented with a strong sense of accountability.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
