As a Sales Development Representative at Scalemill, you will be the front line of our sales engine. Your primary mission is to generate qualified leads, book meetings and help drive pipeline growth. You will engage with potential customers, identify pain points and coordinate with account executives to move prospects through the sales funnel. Key Responsibilities
Prospecting and outreach
Seek out new sales opportunities through calls,
Execute outbound outreach cadences/sequences to engage prospects in a timely, accurate manner
Research target markets and identify potential leads and maintain a consistent pipeline of qualified leads
Schedule, hand over and coordinate meetings
Schedule online meetings or product demos between prospects and account executives
Ensure smooth communication and transition between all sales stages
Coordinate calendars across different time zones, including meeting reminders
Relationship management
Build and maintain long-term relationships with prospects and existing customers
Follow up regularly to ensure continued engagement and satisfaction
Performance achievement
Manage and achieve daily, weekly and monthly outreach targets
Track and update lead information accurately in the CRM system
Analyze performance metrics and share insights for improvement
Collaboration
Work closely with the sales team lead and/or account manager to refine outreach strategies
Share insights from prospect interactions to help improve product positioning and messaging
Document all prospect interactions in the CRM with next steps
Take notes during calls, meetings and demos and share clear action items
Skills needed
Communication: excellent written and verbal communication skills are required
Organization: superior organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities effectively
Time management: strong ability to prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently and work in a fast-paced environment
Attention to detail: accuracy in handling tasks is critical
Persistence: comfortable with cold calls and initiating conversations in a high volume of outreach with consistency
Technology experience needed
Well-versed with basic technology like computers, smartphones and common software used in offices
Comfortable with CRMs (Salesforce/Hubspot/etc), sales outreach tools (Klenty/Salesloft/etc) and/or
Proficiency in Google Suite (Gmail, Google Docs, Google Sheets and Google Slides)
Background
Bachelors degree
Fluent English (written and verbal) is essential
At least two years of proven experience in a related role
