SEO Project Manager / WordPress VA (Process-Driven, Rules-Based)

We are building a Texas-only medical cannabis authority website and are hiring a full-time SEO Project Manager / WordPress VA to run day-to-day execution.

This is not a creative role and not an SEO strategy role. You will be following strict rules, templates, and checklists.

If you enjoy structure, precision, and enforcing standards, this role is a good fit. If you like creative freedom or making changes on your own, do not apply.

Responsibilities:

* Manage one master Posting Calendar in Google Sheets
* Assign content to writers and track deadlines
* Upload content into WordPress as drafts
* Apply page templates exactly as provided
* Format content correctly (headings, spacing, sections)
* Add internal links according to instructions
* Upload and place images correctly (filenames, alt text)
* Set meta titles and descriptions
* Run a basic QA checklist before review
* Prepare pages for final approval
* Publish pages only after approval

Requirements (must have):

* Strong WordPress experience (posting, formatting, images)
* Comfortable working with strict templates and rules
* Basic understanding of SEO operations (not strategy)
* Excellent attention to detail
* Experience managing writers or content workflows
* Comfortable enforcing standards and rejecting drafts
* Strong written English for instructions and reporting
* Reliable internet and availability during work hours

Important notes:

* This role does not involve writing content
* This role does not involve SEO strategy
* You will not be asked to “optimize” content creatively
* All work follows pre-defined rules and templates
* Guessing or making changes without instruction is not allowed

Hours and pay:

* Full-time, long-term
* Competitive monthly salary based on experience
* Paid trial period required
