SEO Content Writer (AI + SEMrush Focused)

We operate multiple Australian niche insurance websites (truck, gym, and fabrication industries) and are looking for a part-time SEO Content Writer to produce high-quality, SEO-optimised articles and landing pages efficiently.

This role is focused on speed + quality using modern tools — including SEMrush, AI writing tools, and SEO optimisation platforms.

Key Responsibilities
• Write SEO-optimised articles and landing pages targeting specific keywords
• Use SEMrush (or similar tools) for keyword research and content optimisation
• Use AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) to generate drafts quickly, then refine into high-quality content
• Follow content briefs provided by the Growth Marketer
• Structure content for:
o Google ranking (SEO best practices)
o User readability and engagement
o Lead generation (calls-to-action, intent-based writing)
• Optimise content using tools like:
o SEMrush Writing Assistant
o SurferSEO (if applicable)

Expected Output
• 8–20 articles per month (depending on length/quality)
• Typical articles: 800–1,500 words
• Mix of:
. Blog posts
. Service pages
. Location-based SEO pages

Requirements
• Proven experience writing SEO-focused content
• Strong understanding of:
. Keyword usage
. Search intent
. On-page SEO structure
• Experience using SEMrush or similar SEO tools
• Experience using AI writing tools efficiently
• Excellent written English (must sound natural, not robotic)
• Ability to follow briefs and meet deadlines
