Revit Structural Drafter

We are currently seeking a skilled Structural Draftsperson with strong experience in Revit and AutoCAD to join our team in a fully remote role. The ideal candidate will have a background in drafting structural plans, with an emphasis on steel and wood structures (wood structures is not a requirement but is a plus). We are looking for someone that is open to learning Revit skills based on our company standards. We are a specialized structural engineer company that does structural engineering on wood, steel, concrete and masonry buildings. Must be able to speak English for effective communication through email and video conferencing.

Key Responsibilities:

Produce accurate and detailed structural drawings using Revit.

-Collaborate with engineers and designers to translate concepts into technical drawings.

-Prepare 2D drafting work in AutoCAD as needed.

-Ensure drawings comply with industry standards and project requirements.

-Coordinate revisions and updates based on feedback.

Requirements:

-Proficiency in Revit with a focus on structural drafting.

-Experience with steel structure detailing.

-Competency in 2D drafting using AutoCAD.

-Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a remote environment.

-Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with a virtual team.


Preferred Qualifications:

-Experience with wood construction (not required, but a plus).
- A Civil or Structural engineering background
