JOB OVERVIEW

About the Role

I’m the founder of a growing natural, vegan skincare and sunscreen brand based in the UK. I’m looking for a reliable, detail-oriented assistant to help manage outreach to retail stockists and distributors.

This role is suited to someone with sales or lead-generation experience who understands wholesale ecosystems and can confidently distinguish between brands, retailers/stockists, distributors, and competitors.

You’ll be responsible for keeping a high-quality outreach pipeline active and organised. I will handle closing and final negotiations.

Hours & Schedule

- Independent contractor role (hourly)

- Part-time: 12 hours per week

- Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday

- 4 hours per day

- Some overlap with UK business hours required

- Start date: ASAP

- Long-term role for the right person


Key Responsibilities

Outreach & Follow-Ups

- Send outreach emails to appropriate retail stockists and distributors

- Personalise emails thoughtfully (not mass outreach)

- Adapt and improve outreach templates over time

- Manage follow-ups and track responses clearly


Lead sourcing & tracking

- Track every account in a simple pipeline tracker or spreadsheet

- Correctly classify leads as:

- Company-Sourced (we provide the target company; you find contacts and manage follow-up)
- Assistant-Sourced (you independently identify a suitable retail stockist or distributor)

- Use judgement to flag borderline, strategic, or unsuitable accounts before outreach

- Confirm sourcing status in the tracker if unclear before spending time on it


Sales Cycle & Pipeline Support

- Support the sales process from prospecting to warm lead handover

- Qualify retailers and distributors based on brand fit

- Maintain clear notes on outreach status and next steps


Research & Prospecting

- Research and identify genuine multi-brand retail stockists and aligned distributors

- Identify correct buyers, founders, or category contacts

- Build and maintain a curated outreach list (quality over volume)


Communication & Reporting

- Clearly summarise replies and actions required

- Flag interested or time-sensitive leads promptly

- Maintain an organised spreadsheet or CRM


Requirements

- Experience in wholesale sales, B2B outreach, account management, or lead generation

- Clear understanding of the difference between:

- brands vs retailers/stockists
- competitors vs wholesale accounts
- boutiques vs large chains

- Understanding of the sales cycle and follow-up process

- Strong written English

- Excellent organisation and attention to detail

- Confident researching companies and decision-makers

- Comfortable using Google Sheets and/or CRMs (PipeDrive a plus)

- LinkedIn outreach experience preferred


What This Role Is Not

- No cold calling

- No closing or negotiation

- No aggressive sales tactics


Tools

- Gmail

- Google Sheets or CRM (PipeDrive)

- Templates, training, and brand materials provided

- Hubstaff used for time tracking (not micromanagement)


Pay

- PHP 250/hour, paid monthly

- Commission applies to the first paid order only from Assistant-Sourced accounts

- One-off bonuses apply to Company-Sourced accounts

- Commission/bonuses paid after cleared payment is received

(At 12 hours/week, approx. PHP 12,900/month + bonuses.)
