Come and join is as Retail Designer (Fulltime)

Our newly created Retail Design role will be responsible for taking creative retail store and fixture concepts and translate them into precise drawings and documentation that is ready for production and manufacturing in most efficient and thoughtful approach. You will partner with our regional Visual Merchandising leads to support the execution in stores across Australia,
USA and Canada is executed with great impact.


Key Responsibilities

Technical Design & Documentation
Produce detailed CAD drawings including plans, elevations
and sections for retail stores.
Develop clear, accurate specifications for materials, finishes,
fixtures and artwork.
Maintain drawing for retail store and retail fixture standards,
file structure, and version control.
Provide and outline build notes for build outs of retail stores.
Actualization from “Mudmaps”, visuals and measurements for
the creation of accurate drawings in SketchUp.

Production & Supplier Coordination
Prepare production-ready files for suppliers and fabricators.
Refine documentation based on prototypes, sampling, and testing.

Development of Brand Guide Standards for assembly and roll-out globally
Support creation and documentation of clear roll-out and installation guides for retail and field teams of plans and error free execution at scale.
Ensure documentation supports smooth, error-free execution at scale.
Uses Brand and VM Guides to deploy elements with accuracy and ensure each store concept is on brand.

Quality & Accuracy
Assist in planning of all for store rollouts both new and renovations.
Checks outputs for accuracy, completeness, and buildability.
Proactively identify risks, clashes, and smarter design solutions.

System and continuous improvements
Maintain organised libraries of drawings, templates, and specifications.
Support development of modular shop-in-shop systems.
Contribute to improving workflows, documentation, and efficiency
Help Inform VM team on how to enhance VM area and our processes with their experience.


About You
Strong CAD capability, Sketch Up preferred with strong technical drawing experience, ability to make concepts come to life.
A bachelor's degree in interior architecture, industrial design, or similar.
A minimum of 3-5 years' experience designing retail, commercial, hospitality environments or fixture systems.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings- support design, documentation, and assembly from space planning concept through the construction
Practical knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft 365.
Excellent communication skills, with fluency in written and spoken English.
Highly detail-oriented with a methodical approach to work.
Able to manage deadlines, multiple priorities with different teams and stay level-headed under pressure.
Collaborative, ability to quickly iterate on feedback in a fast-paced, launch-driven environment.
Flexible in terms of working to suit the different time zones of our business – be part of our Australia East Coast and USA West Coast
VM teams and office hours.
