Job Overview
We’re BigBattery, a fast-growing brand focused on providing top-tier battery storage and energy solutions. Whether our customers are building an off-grid cabin, a home backup system, or a full-scale solar array, we help them get the right products, expert guidance, and reliable energy systems. We are seeking a detail-obsessed, fast-moving Solar PV Specialist to own the full technical function of our system configurations. Your mission will be to interpret customer requirements, size custom setups, and validate component compatibility so that every kit is fully optimized for BigBattery products and completely install-ready.
Key Responsibilities
-Solar System Design: Own the full lifecycle of solar design, including load calculations, system sizing, and layout configurations for off-grid and hybrid systems.
-BOM & Compatibility: Build complete, install-ready Bills of Materials (BOMs), ensuring flawless integration between customer inverters, charge controllers, and BigBattery units.
-System Standardization: Develop and maintain standardized system templates (e.g., 5kW, 10kW kits) to simplify the ordering process for recurring customer use cases.

Requirements
-2–5+ years of hands-on solar PV system design experience, with a heavy emphasis on off-grid or hybrid energy storage setups.
-Deep technical understanding of lithium-ion battery integration, inverters, charge controllers, and proper system wiring/fusing.
-Proficiency with solar design software (such as Aurora Solar, HelioScope, or AutoCAD) and advanced Google Sheets skills for component tracking.
-Fluent written and verbal English communication skills for direct customer interaction and clear documentation.
Schedule & Compensation
-Hours: Full-time (8 hours/day), completely available during 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST, Monday through Friday.
-Salary: $1,000/month base salary + performance-based output bonuses.
