Remote Senior Full Stack Developer (React + Node) – PH-Based – Part-Time Contract

About the Project
We’re bootstrapping Five Star Athletes — a mobile-first platform that helps amateur athletes build powerful profiles, showcase highlights, and get discovered by scouts, coaches, and sponsors.

This isn’t a simple CRUD app. We’re building a modern, AI-enhanced experience that empowers athletes to tell their story, define their goals, and unlock life-changing opportunities.

We’re looking for top-tier full stack developers to join early and shape the product with us — engineers who want to build something real, have real impact, and thrive with autonomy and clean execution.

Tech Stack

Frontend: React + TypeScript (Vite), Tailwind CSS, Shadcn/UI

Backend: Supabase (Postgres, auth, storage), Azure Functions (Node.js)

Tooling: GitHub (CI/CD), Slack, Notion

Upcoming: AI features via OpenAI (GPT-4o), 3rd-party integrations (e.g., scheduling, payments)

What You’ll Do

Design and build clean, reusable components and features in React

Write backend logic in Node.js (Azure Functions + Supabase)

Own features end-to-end — from UI to DB to deployment

Collaborate async with founder and tech contributors

Help evolve the platform architecture to support AI, third-party services, and scale

We're Looking for Developers Who Are:

Self-directed and product-minded

Excellent communicators (async + written)

Skilled across the stack, from Tailwind to APIs

Excited about building something new that people will love

Based in the Philippines and available for daily overlap

Hours / Engagement

25-40 hours/week to start

Contract-based (with potential to expand into a long-term or strategic role)

Flexible schedule with 3-hour overlap preferred between 7:00 PM – 10:00 PM ET
(that’s 7:00 AM – 10:00 AM PHT — normal daytime hours in PH)

Rate / Compensation

$18-22 USD/hour, depending on experience and depth

Paid weekly via Wise, PayPal, or GCash

Bonuses available for milestone completion and performance
