Remote Operations VA - US Car Rental (Phone, GoHighLevel, Clear English a MUST)

About us:
Odel Rentals is a U.S.-based car rental company in Maryland. We rent cars to gig drivers (Uber, DoorDash, Instacart, Amazon Flex) and to direct renters. We run on GoHighLevel (GHL) and we use an AI assistant to help run the business. We are a small, fast-moving team that values clear communication, discipline, and real ownership. What you will do:
You are the main person talking to our U.S. renters and keeping the operation organized. This is a phone-first job. You must be comfortable calling people, sounding warm and professional, and helping renters on the phone.
- Call new leads fast, answer inbound calls, explain our service, and qualify renters.
- Collect and review renter documents (driver's license, gig-earnings screenshot, proof of residency) and spot anything fake, expired, or mismatched.
- Run background checks and judge them. Auto-fail theft, violence, or fraud history. Escalate when unsure.
- Coordinate pickups and returns. No car is released without confirmed payment AND a signed agreement.
- Help manage our AI dashboard: it writes draft messages for you to check, and you catch the bad ones before they go out.
- Keep our GoHighLevel CRM clean: work leads, move them through the pipeline, log every call and note, run follow-ups.
- Track payments, send reminders, update our fleet and revenue sheets, and store documents where they belong.

Must-haves (read carefully):
1. CLEAR, NEUTRAL SPOKEN ENGLISH WITH MINIMAL ACCENT. This is a phone job with U.S. customers. You must be easy for an American to understand on the first try. This is our number one requirement, no exceptions.
2. Strong written English.
3. Comfortable on the phone. You can call people and not get rattled.
4. Sharp eye for risky renters and fake documents.
5. Detail-obsessed and reliable. You log everything and follow a written process exactly.
6. CRM experience. GoHighLevel (GHL) strongly preferred. If you are strong on the phone and have used another CRM, we will train you on GHL.
7. You can reliably work U.S. Eastern daytime hours (your night) long-term.
8. Good internet, a working headset, a quiet place to take calls, and a backup for power or wifi outages.

Nice-to-haves:
- Bilingual English/Spanish (many gig drivers are Spanish-first).
- Hands-on GoHighLevel experience.
- U.S. car rental, Turo, or transportation experience.
- Spreadsheets and background-check tools (Intelius, Forewarn). Comfort with AI tools.

Hours and pay: Full-time, U.S. Eastern Time daytime, the same full hours every day, long-term. This role pays up to $5 per hour (about $500 to $866 per month), based on your experience. Only apply if that works for you. You start on a smaller set of tasks (lead response, phone calls, helping manage our AI dashboard) and take on more as you prove out.
