# Outbound Recruiting Appointment Setter

**Job Type:** Full-Time or Part-Time
**Location:** Remote
**Compensation:** Hourly

## About the Role

We are looking for a professional, organized, and friendly **Outbound Recruiting Appointment Setter** to join our growing team. In this role, you will contact individuals who have already applied for one of our open positions. Your responsibility is to introduce the opportunity, answer questions, determine whether the candidate meets our basic qualifications, and schedule interviews for qualified applicants.

This is not a cold-calling sales position. Every person you call has already expressed interest by submitting an application.

If you enjoy talking with people, are highly organized, and can confidently represent a company over the phone, we'd love to hear from you. Native speaking English language is required.

## Responsibilities

* Review incoming job applications from our email inbox.
* Contact applicants by phone in a timely manner.
* Explain the position they applied for using company-provided information.
* Ask 5–6 standard qualifying questions.
* Answer candidate questions using the training materials and resources provided.
* Determine whether candidates meet our initial hiring criteria.
* Schedule interviews for qualified candidates by sending a calendar invitation.
* Update applicant statuses and maintain accurate recruiting records.
* Represent the company professionally and create a positive first impression for every candidate.

## Qualifications

* Excellent verbal communication skills.
* Friendly, confident, and professional phone presence.
* Strong organizational and time management skills.
* Comfortable following scripts while maintaining a natural conversation.
* Detail-oriented with the ability to accurately document candidate information.
* Reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace.
* Experience in recruiting, appointment setting, customer service, or call center work is preferred but not required.
