JOB OVERVIEW

I’m building a football short-for ---------- dia system and I’m looking for a technical automation developer to help me build a local video repackaging tool.

This is NOT a manual video editing role.
This is NOT a CapCut editor role.
I’m looking for someone technical who can build automation.

The first goal is to build a local tool that runs on my Windows computer and automatically turns football videos into Instagram Reel-style videos using a fixed template.

The tool should:

- Take source videos from a folder
- Read title text from a CSV file or Google Sheet
- Create 1080x1920 MP4 videos
- Add a black background
- Add a large white title at the top
- Place / crop / resize the original video below the title
- Preserve the original audio
- Export final videos to an output folder
- Process many videos in batch
- Organize output files by date / account
- Create logs for successful and failed renders

After the first version works, we will continue building more automation:

- Google Sheets integration
- Google Drive upload
- AI title / caption generation
- n8n workflows
- Source monitoring
- Multiple video templates
- High-volume daily video processing

Required skills:

- Python or Node.js
- FFmpeg
- Video automation
- Batch processing
- Working with files and folders
- Google Sheets / Google Drive API is a big plus
- n8n experience is a plus
- OpenAI / Claude API experience is a plus

Work structure:

We will start with a paid 1-week probation period.
The goal of the first week is to build the first working MVP:

- Input folder with videos
- CSV with filename + title
- Output 1080x1920 MP4
- Black background
- Title at the top
- Source video centered below
- Original audio preserved
- Batch processing

If the first week goes well, this can become ongoing part-time work.

Please do not apply if you are only a manual video editor.
I’m looking for a technical automation developer, not a CapCut editor.

To apply, please start your message with the word FFMPEG and answer these questions:

1. Have you built anything with FFmpeg before?
2. Would you build this with Python or Node.js?
3. How would you create the first version of this tool?
4. Are you available for ongoing part-time work?
