JOB OVERVIEW

Job Summary:
The US Purchasing/Inventory Manager is responsible for reviewing and purchasing inventory from our Thailand WHSE as well as direct suppliers with the guide of our US and AUS based teams. Coordinating the transportation of these goods to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery. This role involves executing purchasing processes, managing on-time in full shipments, handling international and domestic transportation logistics, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Purchasing Management:
o Data Management for all products purchased in the US ensuring all data fields captured in Global ERP
o Collaborate with Management to ensure optimal stock levels; holding monthly buy meetings with US Team and communicating needs to AUS via Netstock
o Maintaining accurate forecasts in Netstock (purchasing system)
o Manage the ordering process with Australia, ensuring accuracy and timely fulfillment of orders.
o Track inventory movements and adjust purchasing plans as needed to align with inventory requirements at each facility
o Forecasting and Purchase for production module (US based manufacturing) to ensure optimal stock of pre-build products
2. Transportation Coordination:
o Approve and Track international and domestic transportation logistics to ensure timely delivery of goods from suppliers/domestic facilities to appropriate 3PL locations
o Monitor and track inbound shipments to address any issues or delays.
3. Supplier and Carrier Management:
o Maintain relationships with logistics, suppliers and transportation providers
o Evaluate supplier and carrier performance regularly and address any issues or discrepancies.
4. Reporting and Documentation:
o Prepare and present reports on purchasing and transportation activities, including costs, performance metrics, and inventory levels.
o Maintain accurate records of purchasing transactions, customs documentation and transportation arrangements
5. Collaboration and Communication:
o Collaborate with internal teams, including Operations, Logistics, Finance and Head Office to ensure inventory levels are maintained and delivery dates are clearly communicated across business
o Communicate effectively with suppliers, carriers, and other stakeholders to coordinate activities and resolve issues.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field or
• 5+ years of experience in purchasing and transportation
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). NetSuite Experience preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Knowledge of supply chain management including US customs, logistics and transportation regulations
