Trivium Writing Inc. is looking for a Publishing Layout & Design Manager — a skilled interior book designer with the project management discipline of a publishing operations lead and the digital design eye of a brand creative.

This role is for someone who understands the full publishing workflow and can turn raw manuscripts into beautifully structured books for print (paperback) and digital (Kindle eBook) formats. You’ll also support marketing design by producing on-brand visuals for social media, client assets, and promotional materials.

You’ll work directly with founder Leandre Larouche to bring books to life, elevate brand visuals, and ensure projects move forward smoothly and professionally.

This is a hybrid role combining:

- Book interior layout
- Publishing workflow management
- Graphic and digital design
- Light editorial formatting
- Marketing design support

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Book Interiors & Publishing Production
- Design clean, professional interior layouts for paperback and Kindle eBooks
- Prepare final production files meeting KDP and other publishing standards
- Format manuscripts for clarity, accuracy, and readability
- Apply consistent typography, spacing, and layout hierarchy
- Build and maintain interior templates for recurring use
- Manage multiple book design projects at once with fast turnaround times
- Design & Digital Creativity
- Create branded graphics for social media, posts, carousels, and ads
- Assist in designing PDF lead magnets, worksheets, guides, and pitch decks
- Update and improve existing brand assets when needed
- Organize and maintain design libraries, templates, and brand kits
- Publishing Management & Workflow Support
- Coordinate timelines, deliverables, and revisions across multiple client books
- Track progress inside Google Drive, ClickUp/Asana, Notion, or similar tools
- Prepare files for editors, proofreaders, and publishing platforms
- Assist in preparing visual assets for book launches
- Maintain quality control standards across all file outputs
